Terms & Conditions
These terms cover every website, online shop, hosting plan and extra we provide. We've kept them in plain English. By paying your deposit, you agree to them.

1. Who we are
Launch Trybe (“we”, “us”) is a web design business based in Queensland, Australia. You can reach us at connect@launchtrybe.com. “You” means the person or business ordering from us.
2. Briefs, quotes and getting started
- Sending us a brief through our website is a request, not a contract. Nothing is charged when you send it.
- We’ll review your brief, confirm the details with you and send a written quote.
- Our agreement starts when you accept the quote and pay the deposit.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- We can decline any project, for example if it’s outside what we do or the content is unlawful.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- A 50% deposit is due before work starts. The balance is due before your site goes live.
- We’ll send you payment details with your invoice. Invoices are due within 7 days unless the invoice says otherwise.
- If an invoice is overdue, we may pause work or delay your launch until it’s paid.
- Hosting and care plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly.
- Domain names are charged at our cost plus a $49 setup fee.
4. Timeframes
- Your first draft is usually ready within 5 to 7 business days, or 3 business days with rush delivery (+$150).
- The clock starts once we’ve received both your deposit and your content (or your go-ahead for us to write it).
- Timeframes are our best estimate, not a guarantee. If we miss a rush deadline because of something on our side, we’ll refund the rush fee.
- If we’re waiting on you for more than 30 days, we may pause your project. After 60 days with no reply, we may close it and keep the deposit to cover the work already done.
5. Your content
- You’re responsible for the words, photos, logos, prices and other material you give us.
- You confirm you have the right to use it, and that it’s accurate, lawful and doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
- If you choose “Do it for me” ($50 per page), we’ll write the copy and source properly licensed stock photos. Please check the copy is accurate for your business before you approve it.
- We can refuse content that’s unlawful, misleading or offensive.
6. Revisions and changes
- Two rounds of revisions are included. Extra rounds are $75 each.
- A round of revisions is one list of changes sent together.
- Revisions cover changes to what was quoted. New pages, new features or a change in direction are extra, and we’ll quote before doing them.
7. Approval and launch
- When you’re happy, you approve the site and pay the balance, then we launch it on your domain.
- Please check everything before you approve, including spelling, prices and contact details.
8. Online shops
- Shop pricing covers up to 20 products, with $50 for each extra block of 20.
- You’re responsible for running your shop: your products, prices, stock, shipping, refunds, tax and following consumer law.
- Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider in your name. Their fees and terms apply, and you’ll need to set up and keep your account with them.
9. Domains, email and Google Business Profile
- Your domain is registered in your name, and you own it.
- Domains must be renewed every year. We’ll remind you, but keeping it renewed is your responsibility.
- Email mailboxes and Google Business Profiles run on third-party services. Their terms apply, and we can’t control outages or changes they make.
- For site migrations, you need to give us access to your current site and domain.
10. Hosting and care plans
- Care Plan: $99 a month or $990 a year. Hosting only: $49 a month or $490 a year.
- Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime with notice by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you’ve paid for.
- Annual plans are paid upfront and run for 12 months. They aren’t refunded if you cancel early, except where the law requires a refund.
- We use reputable hosting providers and work to keep your site online, but we can’t promise it will never go down.
- If a hosting payment is more than 14 days overdue, we’ll let you know, and we may take your site offline until it’s paid.
- If you leave, we’ll help you move your site elsewhere (see self-hosting below).
11. Self-hosting
- For a one-off $49 handover fee, we set up hosting in your name, move your site across, connect your domain and give you a guide with your logins.
- After handover, updates, backups and security are your responsibility.
- Changes we make after handover are charged at $75 an hour.
12. Ownership
- Once you’ve paid in full, you own your website’s design and content.
- We keep ownership of our own tools, code and know-how that we reuse across projects, and you get an ongoing licence to use them as part of your site.
- Third-party items such as fonts, stock photos and plugins stay under their own licences.
- We may show your site in our portfolio and on social media. If you’d prefer we didn’t, just tell us.
13. Cancelling a project
- If you cancel before we start work, we’ll refund your deposit in full.
- If you cancel after work has started, we’ll keep the part of the deposit that covers the work done. If the work done is worth more than the deposit, we’ll invoice the difference.
- If we cancel for reasons on our side, we’ll refund everything you’ve paid for work not delivered.
14. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If something we deliver has a major failure, you’re entitled to a remedy such as a fix or a refund.
15. Our liability
- As far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us for the service in question, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.
- We build every site with search engines in mind, but we can’t guarantee rankings, traffic or sales.
- We’re not responsible for problems caused by third-party services, or by changes made by someone other than us.
16. Privacy
We handle your information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
17. Disputes
If something isn’t right, email us first and we’ll work to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you pay your deposit is the one that applies to your project.
